Job Title: Magic: The Gathering Specialist

We are currently seeking a dedicated Magic: The Gathering Specialist to join our team and enhance our offerings for the Magic: The Gathering community.
Job Description: As a Magic: The Gathering Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional experience for our customers and maintaining our reputation as a top destination for Magic: The Gathering players. You will be responsible for assisting customers, organizing events, managing inventory, and more.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist customers with checkout, providing recommendations and game suggestions.
- Evaluate the condition and rarity of trading cards for trade-ins.
- Collaborate with Wizards of the Coast to host events and energize the Magic: The Gathering community.
- Prepare and ship in-store and online orders, working with various mail carriers.
- Register players for daily card game and video game tournaments.
- Manage product inventory, including entering new products and shipments into the system.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, with the ability to lift at least 25 pounds for light housekeeping tasks.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Magic: The Gathering and a passion for the game.
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills.
- Proficient in using PC/Tablet, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
- Experience in organizing events and working with management to develop unique event ideas.
- Background in customer service with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate event schedules.
